Big print, bold lines, and puzzles that play fair.

Three kinds of quiet
Pick the one that suits the evening.
Sudoku
300 puzzles a book, graded by the technique they actually need — not by how many clues we left out. One answer each, provable, every time.

Word search
Themed grids where every word is in there exactly once — so the answer key at the back is right, and the letters around it never give a word away.

Coloring
Line art sized to the tool that will fill it — jumbo crayon at two, fineliner at forty. Every page carries a true fact about what you are coloring.

Try one right here
These are not mock-ups. The sudoku is lifted straight out of the book, the word search is made to the same rules, and the coloring page is a real page — bring a paint bucket to it and see whether it leaks.
Nine squares left
Tap a yellow square, then a number. This grid came out of 300 Easy Sudoku Puzzles — we took a finished puzzle and put nine cells back.
Every puzzle in every book is carved so that each clue comes out only if exactly one answer survives. Not checked afterwards and thrown away if it fails — there is never a moment when an ambiguous puzzle exists.
Woodland — eight words
Drag across a word, or tap its first letter and then its last.
The letters around the answers are not random. They are drawn from the word list blended with ordinary English, so a lone Q never hands you a word — and a filler letter is refused outright if it would spell one of the answers by accident.
Pick a crayon, click an area
A page only goes in a book if the paint bucket stops at the line — every area sealed, and wide enough for the tool that age group holds. That check is why this works in a browser at all.
Six things we can actually prove
Cheap puzzle books are cheap in ways you only find out halfway through one. Here is what ours are checked for before they are allowed to exist.
Exactly one answer
Not “solvable” — one. A clue is only removed if a single solution survives, so an ambiguous puzzle never exists even for a moment.
Never a guess
Every puzzle can be finished by reasoning alone. If a grid needs a coin flip, it does not go in the book.
No grid twice
300 puzzles means 300 different puzzles. Not one grid repeats inside a book, however it has been rotated or relabelled.
The answer key is right
In a word search every listed word appears exactly once — so the answers in the back mark the word you found, not a second copy of it.
No free answers
Filler letters follow the theme’s own letter frequencies. A rare letter never sits alone in the grid pointing at the word it came from.
Lines a crayon fits inside
Every coloring area is measured against the actual tool — 12 mm jumbo crayon at two years old, 1 mm fineliner for adults.
Something to know on every page
A coloring book is twenty quiet minutes. It may as well leave something behind. Every page carries true, checkable facts about the animal on it, written for the age band the book is for — read-aloud at two, real figures and proper names at ten.
The facts are typeset into the page, never drawn into the picture. Drawings with words baked in come out misspelled and stay that way forever; typeset words stay correct, and stay readable.

Questions worth asking
How large is the large print, really?
Two puzzles to a page on 8.5 × 11 inch paper, which puts a sudoku grid at roughly four inches square — about a centimetre per cell. Enough room to pencil in candidates without a magnifier, and enough to rub one out again.
Will felt tips bleed through the coloring pages?
Pages are printed single-sided by default, so bleed costs you a blank back rather than the next picture. It is the reason the books are thicker than they strictly need to be.
What does “graded by technique” mean?
Difficulty is the hardest move a puzzle actually requires, not how many clues were left out — a 24-clue puzzle can collapse to singles while a 30-clue one needs an X-wing. Easy books never ask for more than a hidden single; hard books will, and say so.
Are these good as a gift?
They are built for it: one clear title on the cover, a difficulty you can pick deliberately, and nothing inside that needs explaining. The large print in particular is what makes them land well with older readers.
Where do the coloring pictures come from?
Each subject is researched from reference photographs and described in writing before a single line is drawn — which is why the border collie looks like a border collie. No photographer’s image is ever traced, and every book lists what was consulted.
